One day my son came home asking for a rabbit for his birthday, we decided on the dwarf lop eared rabbit. But having kept dogs all my life I had no idea about looking after rabbits. Be sure not to overfeed your rabbits

Never give your rabbit grass clippings, lettuce or potatoes as this can cause health problems.

All rabbits will need to exercise properly every day, make sure it is entertained by encouraging natural behaviour.  This can be achieved by having a pipe in the hutch to burrow or a box with some shredded paper in for delving.

Hygiene – Be sure to clean the hutch on a regular basis and provide clean dry bedding.

Never use household disinfectant get a rabbit friendly one from a pet store.
